Sunday school under Tadong Church used to be conducted at Mr Prem Singh Subba's residence, Gairigaon under the guidance of Mr J. O. Simick before 1986. Later on it was shifted to Late G. T.Tasho's residence, Daragaon, Tadong, which was well looked after by Mrs Nimkit Tasho. Subsequently, the Sunday School was shifted to the church hall near ICAR complex and was run under the supervision of Eld. Phurba Sherpa.
As time passed, the number of children from various age groups increased. More teachers came forward and volunteered to teach the children. Some of them were Late Sabita Dhungel, Miss Sandhya Rai and Mrs Sushma Chettri.
From the year 2000, the Sunday school was further divided area wise.
Gairigaon Tadong group was run at Mr D. B.Pradhan's residence, which was looked after by Mrs Naomi Pradhan. It was later shifted to Mr Raju Subba's residence which was looked after collectively by Mrs Moti Dolma Subba, Mrs Dichen Lepcha and Mrs Marie Rai.
Amdo Golai Sunday School was started at Eld and Mrs A. T. Tasho's residence under the care of Mrs Melody Tasho, Miss Samina Lakhey and Miss Christina Lepcha. The Sunday School, however, had to be discontinued at a later stage.
5" Mile Sunday School was started at Mr Sanjay Chettris residence under Mrs Chettri's guidance. Later on, it was shifted to Mr Nobin Tapa's residence under his own care. It continues to run at the same place.
For children around the church complex, the school is run in the complex itself. it is run and looked after by Eld. Phurba Sherpa, Miss Preeti Sharn. Reedana Lakhey, Christina Sherpa, Mrs. Chinop Dhungel, Samjana Sharma, She Alina Sherpa, M Jhumkit Lepcha and Mrs. Sukmit Tasho.
Later on one more Sunday school was started at the residence of Late Eld. T. B. Rai and it still continues to exist successfully under the guidance of Mrs. Sukmit Tasho
